主讲概况:A.Y.M. Atiquil Islam (兰天) is an Associate Professor (Teaching & Research) at the Department of Education Information Technology of the East China Normal University. He is also a Visiting Professor at the School of Education of the Shanghai International Studies University. He obtained a multidimensional PhD degree by combining two faculties, namely, Education and Computer Science & Information Technology at the Institute of Graduate Studies, University of Malaya.In his field of specialization, he developed and validated three models, namely, Technology Adoption and Gratification (TAG) Model, Technology Satisfaction Model (TSM) and Online Database Adoption and Satisfaction (ODAS) Model. These models have been frequently applied by researchers to conduct their studies around the world. His high-quality publications are a witness to these models’ ability to solve the theoretical and practical problems of multiple disciplines. He has had almost 18 years of experience in academia, industry and business. With regard to leadership, he has proved his abilities as a chief executive in few business and social organizations since 2002 to 2007. Leading from the front, he has been conducting workshops on the application of Structural Equation Modeling and Rasch Measurement Model since 2010. Furthermore, Dr. Islam has presented and published many papers in the international conferences (Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Malaysia) and journals including books and chapters.He has published in the British Journal of Educational Technology, Instructional Science, Journal of Information Science, Educational Psychology, Interactive Learning Environments, Online Information Review, and International Journal of Technology and Human Interaction. He has international collaboration with United State of America, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, Italy, China, Malaysia, Philippine, Pakistan, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria. Dr. Islam is a reviewer and technical committee member of many international conferences and journals. He is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Smart Technology and Learning, Editor of Cogent Education (ESCI & Scopus), and Article Editor of SAGE Open (SSCI).研究专长:教育技术评价(Assessment of Educational Technologies);技术、人文和社会(Technology, People & Society);定量模型(Quantitative Modeling);高等教育信息通技术信 (ICT in Higher Education);数字图书馆科学(Digital Library Sciences);新社交媒体分析(New Social Media Analysis);虚拟现实(Virtual Reality)。


主讲内容概况:21世纪,教育研究因其跨学科的概念而在社会科学领域占据主导地位。然而,尽管这类研究已经存在了十年,但相关研究表明,由于对教育研究的片面理解和相关研究技能的缺乏,早期职业研究人员常常难以开展教育研究。主要的挑战是研究人员缺乏如何实施教育研究概念的常识。因此,Islam(2011)提出了教育研究的新概念。他认为“研究的当代定义是理念的逻辑整合”(Islam,2017),认为年轻的研究人员对于教育研究应具有创新性的理念,并能够根据其先验常识判断其理念是否符合逻辑。最后,研究人员应具备整合其理念的足够技能。这三大核心部分对于教育研究来说是最重要的。理念、逻辑和整合显然是相互关联的,三大核心部分缺一不可。为了在逻辑上整合创新理念,伊斯兰提出了两种方法:理论方法和方法方法。理论方法是发展理论或模型,其中研究思路将在一个框架内进行逻辑整合。方法论方法是验证理论或模型,以确认这些想法是否已适当地、合乎逻辑地纳入能够提供预期结果的结构中。本次讲座重点阐述技术采用和满足(TAG)模型,该模型是在现有模型的基础上开发和验证的,以表明和说明如何在实施教育研究中逻辑性地整合这些理念。对于未来的年轻研究人员、学者和实践者来说,在将他们的想法逻辑地纳入高等教育的所有领域时,这种先容可能是不可或缺的。此次讲座还可以为社会科学家和教育研究人员提供引导方针,以克服定量建模研究的挑战,提高教育实践测量的质量。
